I won't waste your time with a long story, but you have a right to know mine.  I am 45 years old.  I have some college.  I am a mother to a beautiful 11 year old.  My mother who is 70 years old lives with me, she has Multiple Sclerosis.

My, soon to be ex husband, was taken from our home by Social Services after he threatened to kill my mother.  He has been gone since August.  This month (Christmas Month) he decided that he was paying too much child support and cut it down to almost nothing.  We were married 17 years.  I have nothing bad to say against him.  These are the facts.

I lost my job the Monday after Thanksgiving.  I am applying for jobs everywhere and I have applied for unemployment.  I should receive it, but it is not enough to pay my mortgage - much less put food on the table and buy Christmas presents for an 11 year old.

I NEED YOUR HELP!!

I have worked since I was 14 years old.  I am not a slacker, I am not lazy or uneducated.  I will find work.  In the meantime - there is Christmas.  I want to give my daughter Christmas presents, I want to have a happy Christmas knowing that we are not facing the electricity being shut off or our cable being shut off.  I know we can use candles and read books, but it is cold.

I am not asking you for a fortune, I am asking you to donate something.  If I were standing on the street corner with a cardboard sign would you give me something?  Believe me, I have given to people with cardboard signs before and I will again.  If I get more donated than I need I will give it all away.  I am not asking for anything for myself.  I am only asking for help to keep a roof over my family's head, electricity on, food on the table and Christmas presents in a year that has been hard enough for my daughter.

Please click the button to the right and make a donation.  I promise to pray personally for every single  one of you who donates.  I am praying for you now.  I believe that God has given me the talents to put this blog out there and I am attempting to utilize what he has given me.  Please help.

Thank You!

I will take this blog down after Christmas 2012 - or if I get a job - whichever comes first.
